This Weeks Results

I gained 2 pounds.  I am upset about it. The kind of upset that gets my a$$ up and out the door for a walk followed my weights.  If the scale shows a gain it is a reflection of what I did and did not do.  NO excuses, no whining, no self pitty, if I want results I must take action. 

This weeks goals are simple

1. Make a detailed menu and stick to it.

2. Take my medication as perscribed.

3. Exercise:

Thur 30 min walking, weights, and cool down.

Fri - 45 min walking and stretching.

Sat - 30 min walking, weights, and stretching.

Sun - DVD workout, 30 min walking, and stretching.

Mon - rest

Tues - weights, 30 min walking, and stretching.

Wednesday - Walk Boomer Lake and stretching.

4. Daily blog and accountability

5. Meditation and Me time

6. Support those who support me.

I am very tired and tomorrow promises to me a long day.  Relay for life is tomorrow night.  I am not on a team, but one of my friends is.  She said I can help her group walk.  I want to go for at least a couple hours.  I lost my mother and 4 aunts and 1 uncle to cancer.  It is a cause that really hits me hard.

    Oh sweeetieeee don’t you worry about that two lbs - you know why? Because I know you will lose it…..ahheeemmmmm see that graph to the right? That’s a winner in my eyes.

    And guess what? We have till Sunday to weigh in - if it changes.

    well :( for the weight gain but you know what you gotta do. How about a little challenge for you. feel up to it??? no soda!!!!!

    It’s great that this made you mad and ready to fight back. So many would use this to wallow and give up. You have a written plan and that helps me out a lot. Enjoy your walk tonight.

    Look at u kick ur ownself in the booty and use it to motivate u to get back on track ! YAY ! This is how this losing weight for LIFE works ! U feel down, u got back up and ur upward and ON !     You are more than going to make up for the gain. You sound ready to tackle this and have a great plan laid out in front of you. Keep on pushing and giving it your all. Great job on taking on Kerstin’s challenge. Can you give us an idea of how much you normally drink a day? Keep it up!

    Actually the reason it was so easy to accept Kristen’s no soda challenge is I don’t drink that much anymore. I had one 32 oz yesterday, one 32 oz on Monday, one 32 oz Sunday and a 20oz on Saturday this past week. But that is still way to much sugar and empty calories. Diet makes me physically ill. My body doesn’t like any type of artificial sweetener. So I am switching to water.

    I love Relay for Life and all the similar things. My daughter did the St. Jude Trike a thon this year.

    Good luck on your no soda challenge…you can do it!

    it might be that you are just retaining water? Don’t put all of your focus on the scale…when you eat healthy and exercise, you are winning even if you aren’t losing weight!
