Reality Check Weight Tickers
Thank you everyone for all the comments on my last blog! I knew my focus was shifting to the wrong place. I knew by putting it out there I would get the feedback I need to remember what is important….good health. Being thin does not determine good health and that’s where my screwed up thinking was leading me.
I know a 40 something size 20 something buddie that can out walk her 18 year old size zero niece. My buddy has been making healthly choices and exercising daily, as a result she is more fit than apperances lead one to believe. I love that. She is such an inspiration.
What I learned…..Does it matter if we share our weight ticker with the rest of the world? HECK NO!!! Does it matter if we put in our best effort and support one another? YES!!!

These are things I need to remind myself as well. It is so easy to get caught up in thinking about and obsessing over being thin.
Glad you were able to figure out what really matters!
I didn’t comment on your last blog, but I am glad to see that others were able to help you out.
I don’t think the number of weight even says it all…I just saw on the news a 120 pound model was fired for being too fat! Oh and she is 5 feet 10 inches….that is way below a healthy weight for her…so height factors in too. They shouldn’t just assume that weight is all there is to it.
And in the one book I was reading, it showed a picture of a size 2 woman who weighed about 100 pounds (maybe less) Her body fat %? 36%…very unhealthy. She didn’t have that much lean muscle but she was still small…
sorry I went off on a tangent! But these stories just came to mind when I read your blog
