A Good Look in the Mirror
I am working out my thoughts in this blog. I need to get them organized and focused. I do that best if I reason everything out on paper or screen. It will most likely be boring, but it’s what is on my mind today. My life is becoming a big mess. Nothing is organized or planned, and I am missing too many of my goals. I have been slipping bit by bit for a month or so. So what to do now? Look at my priorities and see if they are on track to reach my goals and live the life I want to live. Get rid of the clutter in my life. Start planning meals and exercise in more detail. If I don’t know what I am doing to reach to my goals then I won’t reach them.
What I know I need to do to reach my health goals.
- Meal Planning
- Exercise
- Water
- Sleep
- Motivation and Focus
I have been on track with water since last Thursday. I started getting caught up on sleep last night and will continue to get at least 7 hours each night. I would like to get 8, but that is not always possible. Motivation is this blog. As I get everything in order and plan I will become more motivated and focused. That leaves meal planning and exercise. These are the most difficult for me. I don’t know why they just are. I need 30 to 60 minutes of exercise 5 days a week and 2,000 to 2,300 calories per day. I will start posting my accountability here or in the Wildcat forum.
Gotta cut this short. I will write more later/tomorrow.

Very good way of organizing your thoughts. Only one thing to add (if you don’t mind lol) A lot of people (including me) are always trying to find the time to do the exercise and as you say its 30-60mins a day, 5 days a week. What I discovered is that it takes much longer if you include the shower and changing clothes and stuff afterwards. My 1hr run, turns into a 2hr event by the time Im done start to finish and ready to go again. So counting the cleaning up afterwards and getting ready beforehand too made it easier for me to plan it in. Good luck!
Looks like you have started to declutter already.
I just love the fact that you are logging your plans. It makes them real. You have a wonderful attitude. Planning on a day at a time basis and not looking at how long it will take to lose does work. If I would have know it would take me a year to lose 25 pounds, I might have given up on WW. But I won’t because I know I am only 20 away from goal. At it gets harder, but doable. I had a lot of support at WW and here, which has kept me from going on weekly binges, which I used to do regularly. Keep up the great work.
keep on with what your doing…try to make exercise at least 5 or 6 days a week and try to make it the same time..get your workout clothes on and just tell yourself your going to do even a short workout…by the time you get going you’ll likely keep going….good luck!!

Keep blogging and posting honey. You will work it all out!!! SORRY I missed you today. I was on here a bit but went into two meetings.
You have some great goals set.
Sooner or later you will figure out what works for you, keep what you want and let go of the rest.
I think it is great how you have put your thoughts down here. Are you having trouble meal planning because of a work schedule or trying to eat every couple of hours? I find that sometimes it’s just easier to make the plans the night before and adjust as your day changes. Best of luck. I wish you many successes.
you are on the right track, putting it on paper makes all those dreams swimming around in your head a little clearer. you have taken some important first steps
Nice job.
You are more organized than you think. look at your plan, you know what to do and you are doing it!
You all are so amazing. I love my buddies. I would hate to think how hard this would be without your support.
